Happiness Starts Here

A craft, hiding in the corner of the marina, stole into the night. Its sails shifting in the silent air. Waves whispering, we are going on a journey. One girl, once insignificant, now empowered with her decision.

No longer afraid of her father, she allowed the light of the stars to guide her.

‘My happiness starts here,’ she said, a grin spreading on her lips.

  1. Although a lot is left to our imagination, your six sentence story told us enough to know what her past might have been like.
    To do something, to make changes doesn’t happen with only wishing it to be. We have to want it and sometimes be brave enough to make the change.
    No graphic was needed. I saw the picture clearly. 🙂
