Hugs

1. What is the first thing you think of when you hear the word “cuddly”? Hugs, and specifically with my family and friends. Toys are my second thought, because we called stuffed animals, cuddly toys in the UK.
2. Would you like to own an exotic pet? If so, what? I own some tropical fish, which we got for my granddaughter for her birthday. They are all different colours, and we have six of them. They are round my house because we have more room.
3. If you were suddenly gifted £1000/$1000, what would you do with it? I would have my decking removed and replaced with paving slabs. The wood is rotting and I would love to go out into my garden without worrying about breaking my leg.
4. Do you wear slippers at home? Yes, but I have to be in the mood. They are lovely and fur lined, and I can use them as boots. I love thick socks. It has to be cold, cold or I end up kicking them off.

This week I am grateful for being able to watch my granddaughter tap dance, and learn ballet. Always in her own style.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
