To the detriment of getting an appointment at the doctors; they always want you to ring at 8 in the morning, and 12 midday – don’t they understand, for people who work, they are the most inappropriate times?
That is how my doctor’s work anyway, and even when you can phone them, it is normally five minutes of waiting before they say there are no appointments left!
True story! My doctor is the same! 😄

It’s why walk in doctors are so busy.

We have at least a twenty minute wait on hold. We got through immediately at 8am only to be told by a recorded voice that we were number 32 in the queue!

Even if you go in person there is a queue.

We had that with our old surgery and people started to queue at 7.30. After Covid, they scrapped that and the Sit and Wait clinic, another reason we changed surgeries.
