The classic look of the seventies; flares, bright flowery patterns, and frizzy hair, and it is reappearing in shops, as the new thing in. I am unclear as to why. I still remember dresses I wore to school, with big flowers and I hated every minute of wearing them. The eighties were no better. I lived in rara skirts, with a very curly home perm. Not sure why I thought that was fashionable.
Now being comfortable is more important than looks.
At work it is smart casual, at home jeans, or leggings. In the winter I have lengthy jumpers, in the summer tshirts. Following fashion is not my aim.
The classic look is to be left for the young.
I had a pair of flairs which were also hipsters and I lived in them! Happy days.

The young usually wear torn clothes as it’s the new fashion 🙃😂
