Transition

Written for https://reinventionsreena.wordpress.com/2024/03/28/reenas-xploration-challenge-324/

Winter to spring, the transition from cold days wearing thick jumpers, and drinking steaming hot chocolate to seeing the daffodils sprouting through the warm earth. Bringing a colour we didn’t realise was there. There is a riot of pink, branches sprouting with new life.

Whatever happens, the seasons change and bring hope. The joy of being able to step into the garden and make it beautiful. In a couple of weeks my decking is being replaced, and paving slabs put down. We are thinking of getting a play house at the back and a raised bed for her to grow flowers and vegetables .Finally, we are going to have a safe place for my granddaughter

I love Spring, and we will be able to enjoy our outdoor space.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
