So exactly what happened here? The detective in charge saw his body. Blood seeped into the carpet. Flowers were wilting at his feet. The woman, covered in bruises, confessing. Sorry, I didn’t mean it to go this far.
Victim or murderer?
He wasn’t certain, but she required medical attention. The call to the paramedics was just as important as uncovering the truth. He couldn’t interrogate her. Not now. Her physical trauma healed, only for someone to reopen the wounds.
So many women, and men, suffering at the hands of a violent partner. Not all of them ended this way. Some marriages lingered. This one was no different. Why hadn’t she gone to the police sooner?
Perhaps it was a homicide, and the marriage became too much. Self defence? But his injuries were so severe.
The crystal vase was in pieces and so was he.
Something will be written for the files – case will close
But what really happened we’ll never know – I suppose

Perhaps she will be convicted, there was a case a few years ago, where a woman was put in prison. She has since been released.

There are probably many similar stories. Desperation can make one do desperate things.

Through research for my book, PTSD and trauma sadly happen, even now.

victims can only take so much , eventually the situation comes to a head and something breaks! They either get killed or kill.
This case was so ambiguous … No one may ever know 💜
