A little blue dress, which goes with anything, hangs in the wardrobe. Her first date in years, and it seemed impossible it would fit. The memories of her husband, and the way they met, and she couldn’t wear it.
Tonight, she chose another colour.
Black jeans, with her favourite rock chick top. Her daughter laughed when she told her she was going to a Bon Jovi concert. She thought it was a great idea. They would be amongst other people and she would be safe.
Swiping right, he looked like a nice guy, but she had watched enough detective programmes to understand he was a stranger.
She had to take a chance to be happy.
‘Looking good Mum,’ her daughter grinned. ‘Don’t be out too late and make sure you call me if there is any trouble.’
Cute and sweet, Diana ❤

Bon Jovi was my high school best friend’s favorite band. I saw them in concert for the Bad Medicine tour. It was pretty bombastic. And very safe.
