I respond to anyone who comments on my post. However, when it is emojis I think a like is sufficient enough to end the conversation.
When commenting on other author’s posts; It depends on what is written. If I enjoy a poem or short story my feedback is normally brief. If the post resonates with me, I will enter into a conversation.
I struggle with writing longer responses. I am worse in real life, as social interactions unnerve me. I am not sure, but having done an autism training, I am probably somewhere on the spectrum. Girls present differently to boys. They mask and generally are more socially interactive, but copy other reactions.
Being a writer, we are people watchers.
Perhaps it is a reason why I love creating stories so much. It is easier to talk through my characters than being myself.
you know I had not thought of it in that way before but you’re right ….what and learn they say . 💜💜

I am with you here Diana. When the response is an emoji, a like is enough. Thanks for sharing
