Girls with autism mask, because we are more social humans. This is where we copy what others are doing. It doesn’t mean we don’t feel the pressure of being in a crowded room. A few will over talk, to compensate for their lack of courage. A portion will stay quiet. Either way it is something they cannot help. It isn’t being rude, it is a concern of making a mistake.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. It seems these days that autism has become an acceotable way for a person to face the challenges and rebuffs of an indifferent society. The phrase ” e pluribus unum” takes on a whole new connotation.
