1. Have you ever roller skated?
Yes, and I remember being chased by a large dog while wearing roller skates.
2. Have you ever ridden a horse (or donkey)
I rode a donkey when I was a child. Never been brave enough to go on a horse.
3. What was your favourite ride at a fun fair?
I went on a ride with my best friend Theresa. I am not sure what it was called, but we were in a carriage together and whoever was on the left got squashed. The first one I went on with was with my dad. It was a roller coaster. He held my hand throughout, and his presence prevented me from feeling scared. It is not at the fair – at Thorpe Park, my favourite is Nemesis. My least favourite is Colossus because during the loop, I felt like I was falling out. The only ride I will never go on is stealth. Two hundred and five feet in the air is not my idea of fun.

The second one is Nemesis, and I think it is because the overhead bars are more pressured against the chest.
4. Choice of fun fair prizes:
It would have to be a cuddly toy. When I was a child we won a goldfish, but I couldn’t keep it because of my cat.
I have happy memories of all the fairs and theme parks I have been too. It is good to get out of our comfort zone in a safe manner.
I remember when Hubby and I went to Alton Towers through the bank’s social club. We left on the Friday night and came home Sunday afternoon. Hubby and i stood at the entrance and screamed like a couple of five year olds then went charging off inside. Not a very good example to the young ones!

Just because we are older doesn’t mean we cannot act like children.
