‘What’s that smell?’
A whiff of a stench so vile, a skunk would run away in fear.
Dan and David, the terrible twins, gassed their herd whenever they could. She was sure they ate manure for breakfast, tea, and dinner. Their toddler like giggles as they lifted their tails caused an uproar of moos.
Daisy flounced across the green field, her black eyes fierce with unshed tears.
Purple blooms grew by the grass verge. Violets the humans called them. She loved the taste on her rough tongue and the sweetness as they passed from stomach to stomach. Her lining unclenched with each gentle movement.
Each quiet nibble cleared the air of the normal stink.
The scent of rain pulled her to the grass, and the sweet aroma led her into a beautiful dream.
A lovely story
