Holiday

https://pcguyiv.wordpress.com/tag/truthful-tuesday/ informs us of the fact ”Here in the US, yesterday was Memorial Day, which often serves as the start of summer activities. As such, it’s also a time many people go on vacation. Do you have any plans for this summer, or are you playing it by ear this year?

I work in a school as a teaching assistant. My summer holidays kick off on July 21st. I am going for a holiday in August to Dorset. We plan to take two dogs, a toddler, a teenager (16) my daughter, husband, son and multiple suitcases. In a month, we are purchasing a new seven seater car, and there is a storage compartment on the top, but we might not possess adequate space.

We are vacating in a holiday camp, and I am looking forward to some peaceful downtime.

The rest, I would like to get some of my garden renovated. Some fake grass, a swing set for my granddaughter, plus a little wooden house. Some fencing put in the middle. I recently had paving slabs laid down, so I am hoping to enjoy it more.

I plan to write more (living in hope), and I should be able to finish one of my works in progress enough to send agents and publishers my novel. At the moment, I am being tortured by editing.

The school holidays make time go quicker, but I cannot wait until we break up for the six weeks. I can spend time with family and relax.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
