1. Rumpelstiltskin spun straw into gold for what? He was bored, and thought he would get paid in diamonds, but the queen went back on his deal, so he changed it back into straw again.
2. What did humans do before the bobbin was invented? They knitted their clothes instead.
3. What is the difference between knitting and crocheting? knitting is where grannies are clicking and clacking and crocheting is where they look after their grandchildren for free.
4. What does a drop spindle do? A bit like a mike drop, but you need to be careful it doesn’t stab your toe.
5. What does a painted pony have to do with a spinning wheel? He wanted to see how fast he could spin, but it made him dizzy, so he walked to the field instead.
6. If you stick a needle in your eye, does that show sincerity? Why would anyone want to do that?
7. What was Barthélemy Thimonnier known for? Bart Simpson’s cousin, three times removed. He tried his on television show, but it crashed on the ratings.
8. What happened in the Golden Age of sewing? AI sewing machines, no human contact required.
9. What breed of sheep makes the best wool? Shaun the sheep.
10. What happens when the cotton field gets rotten? They do not pass go and do not collect 200 pounds.
