Actress

1. Have you wanted to be famous? During my teenage years, my aspiration was to become an actress. I viewed the Fame series, and it persuaded me I could attend drama school. If I ever were lucky enough to get a publishing deal, I would be hopeless. Social situations frighten me, and I am like a deer in headlights when a stranger talks to me. My first job, as a typist, lasted a month Got let go due to not being able to type without mistakes.
2. Have you met any celebrities? I saw Norman Wisdom and he autographed his picture. He was seventy and he dashed around the stage with the energy of someone younger. My husband’s father resembled him so closely, and we often pondered if there was a link between them.
3. Has anyone asked you for your autograph? Only the bank, but I don’t think that counts.
4. Is there a celebrity you wish to have met/meet? Paul Michael Glaser. I watched Starsky and Hutch every week. My dream; to be his wife. I didn’t care about the twenty year age gap.

I am grateful for being given the opportunity to live amongst family and friends. They are my strength, especially my brother, husband, children and grandchildren.
