1. What is a nincompoop? Pooping nine times in a day is a daily record.
2. What is a Tory? A blue duck with orange tail feathers.
3. What is a gonk? An award for all the cartoon animals with the best gonk on the head. Tom, Wile Coyote, Sylvester and Scar were in line for this prestigious award.
4. What is a pom-pom? An award for all the cartoon animals with a high moral standard. Jerry, Road Runner, Tweety Bird and Simba’s hopes are high to win, but then they always do.
5. What is a hanging basket? A Basque, where the laces are loose.
6. What is a micropore? The last few days before payday.
7. What is a posy? A new character in the Teletubbies. (Tinky WInky, La la, Dipsy, Po) She is the first woman, and Po’s younger sister.
8. What is a barometer? A wheelbarrow, which can tell you how far you have travelled.
9. What is a cable? A lost stitch.
10. What is a fib? Football is brilliant, but only for the fans.

The European Cup has started and there may be a few who don’t agree. Mind you, there is always a good book to read.
