Laughing Out Loud

1. If you are feeling below par and down, how do you lift your spirits? Either I spend time with those I love. Watching a sitcom is a brilliant way to unwind. Some of the old ones would not fit the political correctness of the world today, but they still make me giggle. I have watched some comedy shows at my local theatre, and the comedians are hilarious.
2. Do you believe that laughter is the best medicine? Definitely, when someone laughs, it is contagious.
3. What makes you smile? My granddaughter, when she says something comical, even if she doesn’t comprehend it. Walking my dog and being around any animal. Sharing a joke, or watching a funny show on television.
4. Do you have a ‘comfort’ food? Chocolate, biscuits; anything sweet.

Gratitude: Being able to find joy and share being happy. We all have our down days, but it is with family and friends we can support each other.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
