What season is it where you are, and how’s the weather? Are you coping well with the current temperatures and humidity levels? What would your ideal weather be?

Our time of year is summer, and today the temperature is 18 degrees centigrade and mostly cloudy, according to the report. Looking outside, that is what I observe. Last week we had our heatwave. Over thirty, with a muggy atmosphere, which lasted through the night, it was unbearable.

We Brits do not survive; we wish for a cloudless sky – when it is raining, cold, or a bit of both – but our dream rarely happens. Whenever this occasion occurs, a wave of overwhelming change hits us in the chest. With no air conditioning in our houses we suffer. Even with the windows open and the fan on, the warmth creates lack of sleep.

I would give you the forecast for the next few days, but we cannot be certain in its results. To be fair, we could experience many climates on the same day. The best bet is, always bring an umbrella.

My ideal conditions would be around twenty-five, with a sea breeze to go with it. I would also be on holiday, where I have the ability to wear the appropriate clothes and enjoy a cool drink, with lots of ice-cream.
