Hi,

Basil Bat’s the name, and singing is my dream.

My cousin, Basil Brush is the most famous fox in our family. A distant cousin, two times removed, we have always been close. He has lost some of his celebrity status, but is still big in the clubs around town. Mostly for gambling away his fortune. Although, he had the last laugh when he won big on the slot machines.

I got my big break when Davina Duck flew into my cave. She crashed into the wall and was grateful when we peeled her off the stalagmite and shared some of our salt water.

Next week, I am going to perform, as Elvis, on the television programme ”Stars In the Eves”. He is my hero, and at least I get my first big break. Am I nervous?

No.

I am the bravest bat in the belfry, and nothing can stop me now.
