Sammi asks if I have a writing ritual. When I wake up, I edit, or write for half an hour on my latest novel. I use ProWritingAid, and it helps with grammar, sentence structure and shows me when I repeat words and sentences.
In the afternoon, I concentrate on my blog.
That’s the plan, but sometimes I wake up too late, so cannot be creative, and when I come home, it depends if there are other things going on. My daughter might want a lift or I could spend quality time with my granddaughter, or do my weekly shop.
Life can be an excuse, but even if it is a few words, that’s okay, because it is through living we are able to create a world with just words and inspirational thoughts.
a word at a time ….it all counts 💜💜

That’s a wonderful idea, that we shouldn’t begrudge life getting in the way of our writing. As long as I end the day with a few more words than I started it with, I’m usually happy

Me too, a sentence is still writing.
