1. Have you ever wanted to design your own home?
Not really, although I hope to have a new kitchen next year, when I retire. I will design it with my hubby.
2. Have you designed anything specifically for you or your family?
I am not creative in that way, but I love painting by numbers. My favourite is one of my old dog Scamp.
3. Does anyone in your family have ‘artistic qualities? (ie. painter/artist, sculptor, landscape gardener etc)
My husband is creative, my daughter is the same, and she made me a bunch of paper flowers for my birthday. My son developed his own web comic. I am proud of them all.
4. When it comes to property or buildings, do you prefer a modern design or a more traditional approach? A traditional house, with lots of wooden beams and a multitude of cupboards for all my stuff.
I am grateful I am near my children, and grandchildren. Home is wherever they are.
Lovely gratitude response

Lovely post Diana.
I designed the layout of my kitchen when I was in a previous relationship and it worked really well. Sadly the kitchen here is so small, other than putting up another wall cupboard and crowding you in, you can’t have it any other way without knocking down a wall and incorporating part of the lounge haha!!

Lol, my kitchen could be bigger if it were designed more effectively.

Ah, cupboard space! An important part of a kitchen.
Cheers to your creative family too.

I’d go for a traditional home deco too. Lovely post.
