Love

I have been married for thirty-seven-years.

My brother walked me down the aisle in a church called St Mary’s.

It was an occasion I will always remember fondly, and hours after my wedding reception, my sister-in-law gave birth to a baby, who she named Laura.

I love my husband as much as when I expressed my vows. Life hasn’t been ideal, but we have worked through each hurdle together. Two children (adults), grandchildren (a little girl and a teenager) and I am proud of what we achieved.

Marriage isn’t about being perfect, or agreeing on the same topics, but understanding the difference and loving each other.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
