My first roller coaster, I experienced was in Dreamland, was on my holiday to Margate. My Dad sat next to me, and I had a sense of security, even though there was only a bar to stop us falling out.
At the fun fair, me and my bestie used to choose the waltzer, and the Whip, where it jolted out to the side. If you were on the inside, you always ended up squashed.
The Mary Rose, which flipped over and the Looping Star. Both of which, my husband joined me on. My favourite is Nemesis, despite the fact that your legs dangle, I felt secure the whole way. Last year I went on Rameses Revenge with my daughter. It has multiple loops and speeds up the neck of a snake.
Not taking part in that again, my stomach is still there.
During a school trip to Drayton Manor, I chose an adventurous airplane excursion, which twisted as we turned. Only a few feet from the ground. Deceiving. I was glad when it stopped.
Both my children like Theme Parks, but as my other half became older, he only goes on the ones he prefers. I will take a chance, but if I feel like I am falling out, it is a no from me.
i am a total scardicat when it comes to funfair rides 🙄

I love roller coasters (as did my husband as do my kids). I haven’t been on one since, lemme see… 2009?

I love certain roller-coasters. If I don’t feel safe won’t go on it again.

It was at least ten years ago. Safety standards have improved.
