I am a teaching assistant, and learning with the students, and probably listening more in English than I did when I was a child: too busy avoiding the black board rubber for the chatty boy behind me.

Funnily enough, anything to do with words and writing inspires me to do more.

When I started working in a primary school, it helped me publish my first book. Was it perfect? No, and there are many things I will do differently. Like a runner wrapped in foil after finishing, I was still proud not to have given up.
