Evening

1. Do you prefer to sit in an armchair or curl up on a couch in the evening? My hubby has a recliner chair, and he nods off, on more than one occasion. I have the sofa (couch) and normally chill while I blog on my laptop. When I am relaxing, I lay down and rest my head on a couple of cushions and watch my detective programs. More often than not, I close my eyes before the murdere is revealed.
2. What was the last book you read? The Invisible life of Addie La Rue. It is a brilliant book, where she makes a deal with a God she prays to after dark, when she doesn’t want to marry a suitor chosen by her parents. She is twenty-three, and lives forever, but everyone forgets her. Even those who love her. After hundreds of years, someone says her name, but he has made his own deal with the same deity. I would highly recommend it.
3. What snacks do you enjoy? Anything sweet, but I have to be careful because of high cholesterol. I also eat savoury and crisps. There are some healthy choices; Pop chips and Popworks. I can eat these without cheating. I make my own cakes, using Flora light, which isn’t perfect, but better than butter.
4. Do you prefer vegetables over fruit? I like fruit and have frozen because they don’t go off. I am terrible at buying fresh, and not eating it. Don’t shoot me, but I also like pineapple on pizza.

I am grateful for having a somewhere to relax on, a house to live in and a family to share it with.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
