Practicing my singing in the mirror
each note, more out of tune than the next
respecting my wish to remain in a life full of
freedom. Each song brings new courage,
over, the tears about my day,
maybe tomorrow I can share
every negative hurt to Mum and Dad
remembering, the bullies are to blame
Not me
Yes, you are not to blame.

I know I am not, I wish I could have said that to my younger self.

I had several foster kids with similar problems. The support they needed just wasn’t there. It’s terrible that you had to go through it Diana.

So true! You were never to blame, it was the bullies, and never you! Xx
