His name, lost to my ears, as the postman ran screaming from the porch. Not sure why, he was surprised. There was a warning on the mailbox. Leave by the plant; do not post through my letterbox, the allegator could bite.

Bob is a lovely pet and is more loyal than any dog or cat.

As a tiny creature, in a pink bow, my mum’s gift was a bit of a surprise.

I adore him, and cannot bear to let him go.

The trouble is, he is outgrowing my small apartment, and there have been complaints by my neighbours.

That’s why I’m selling, but nobody will view the house, in fear they might lose a finger or an arm. To help with the sale, I am showing them a video instead. It’s working, and next week I sign the deeds to my new house, without a neighbour for miles.

The police have informed me, if he bites another human, he will have to be taken away. He only did that once, and to be fair, the teenager concerned thought it was a good idea to annoy him with his favourite chew toy.

It’s dinner time soon; my baby needs to be fed. I open my freezer, and retrieve a lovely, raw piece of burgler.

His fault; shouldn’t have broken in.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
