It’s a Share

1.  What brings you the most comfort:
food, friends, a good movie, pets, a walk on the beach/in the park, something else.

I would have to say all of the above, but my family bring me the sense of security I have today.

2.  Most of us love our food. Is there something you like but know you shouldn’t have it?

Most things with saturated fat in. My cholesterol is high, and I need to be careful. The trouble is I love chocolate, cake, and biscuits. I do try to eat healthy, but the land of good intentions often lose.

3.   Do you prefer a garden of flowers or growing vegetables, or do you not have a  garden?

I am not a gardener, and plants survive despite me, not because I keep them alive. My dad used to grow vegetables. I remember him planting tomatoes, potatoes, lettuce and split peas. We used to pop them out of their shells. His tomatoes were put in the airing cupboard to turn red. I would love to have a raised bed, so I could help my granddaughter grow her own vegetables. I do have an apple and pear tree in my garden, which I tend to use to make pies.

4.  Would you like to be rich, I mean REALLY rich?

No, I wouldn’t know what to do with it. Although a lot more can be given, if you have too much money.

I am grateful for being in a position where I have my own house, and do not have to worry about being homeless. There are so many people not so lucky in their life.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
