Every image stands, but paper robes tear with minimum effort. She drew closer to the painting, supposedly worth millions. All it contained were pixels of paint. Layers of love, to the artist. Could she recreate this? Easy enough, if she had access to the precise combination he used. ‘

‘Ten thousand for the Mona Lisa. You have a good deal.’

‘Agreed, but you understand, if you fail …’

‘Not happening, I’m the most qualified, and better than Leonardo. Obviously fame isn’t worth all that.’

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
