Cranky; me, never.
Well, apart from when I don’t have my morning coffee or breakfast.
Not that I am allowed that much caffeine since finding out my blood pressure was high. I always said to my husband about consuming energy drinks was dangerous, but didn’t realise my actions posed the same danger.
Mostly, I buy the decaffeinated. Although I allow one proper coffee to get me through my day.
The fact is, getting older is something I appreciate.
Many friends and family haven’t been so lucky.
I want to see my granddaughter grow up, and if looking after myself is the way to do it, then I prefer to take the doctor’s advice.
Decaf is my go to too.

Wish I hadn’t read this. I drink a potful of strong black coffee everyday. I’m a nibbler and need something to drink while I nibble.

It isn’t easy to manage.

I drink more tea than coffee, and buy decaff coffee. If out, it’s a latte for me. My BP isn’t too bad, but both of us take garlic oil capsules every day which seem to help keep it in check.

Might try that, still high without caffeine.
