The sun soars, settling on the perfect, soft carpet.

As each layer of snow melts, its warmth protecting the plants beneath their delicate skin. Water trickles through the earth, causing each bud to burst into brilliance. Leaves never wait to grow, they are drawn to the cloudless skies.

Their life is short, yet their worry diminishes.

With the dawn of a new day, the scent of growth fills the air, a tangible expression of nature’s boundless love.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
