With a new lease in her writing, Diana sat at the back; her notebook open and pen whirring across the page.
A simple prompt; a dusty stone, with a fossil inside.
She wrote of a mother searching the sifting sand for answers. A forgotten postcard, from her dad, in her pocket.
Wish you were here …
The brush of a breeze on her shoulder – she hoped he approved.
Yesterday I went to a writer’s conference. A lovely lady in my writing group couldn’t go and gave me her ticket. I loved spending time with my friends, and getting to be part of an amazing day brought fresh happiness in a simple pen.
so glad that you enjoyed it 😁😁
