Tears of Hope

Written for https://lindaghill.com/2025/06/06/the-friday-reminder-and-prompt-for-socs-june-7-2025/

Don’tpent up your emotions

keep your fears in a tight ball

it’s best to find a way to scream

shoulders back and standing tall.

Don’t think crying is a weakness

your tears are meant to fall

It’s best to find a way to share

Using support when your tears crawl.

Don’t think you are alone

stop creating a wired wall

It’s best to find a way to talk

dial a friends number and call.

Please think about your future

if you stumble before you crawl

It’s still the best to be proud

fear do not install.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
