Keep it Simple

Being an author is something I’ve always loved. Frome the age of five, words can create a world without moving from my home. Lately, it feels like I am trawling through fractured memories, and nothing but a swamp, filled with spikes, erases everything on the page.

When I was on holiday, I was using my notebook, which I found a lot better. I allowed myself to make mistakes. Not scared that it was rubbish, I got my thoughts onto lined paper.

Perhaps I should do the same at home.

Keep it simple and just write.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
