What is better, nationalism or humanity?

This is a simple answer; showing kindness.

Sometimes nationalism, being proud of the country we live in, is used in the wrong way.

When we are playing football, flying the Union Jack is a sign we are rooting for our football, rugby, hockey team. However, it is being used by a minority view to protest against immigrants. Flown at half-mast as a sign of mourning. Social media isn’t helping. The algorithms direct people to their viewpoints rather than understanding others.

I hate seeing the flags; they show the country in an unpleasant light.
