  1. Baloney A man or woman left alone at the bar, and drinks to make them feel better.
    2. Hogwash Shampoo for pigs, when they have been rolling too much in mud. It is meant to make their skin silky smooth.
    3. Codswallop – If you annoy your partner during cooking fish, you can hit them with it.
    4. Bunkum – The person who takes the top bunk of a bed.
    5. Claptrap – What dentists use to keep your mouth open during a root canal.
    6. Fly tipping – A waiter at the smallest restaurant; often they get fruit.
    7. Tripe – A thrupenny bit (for the oldies amongst us)
    8. Balderdash – A January sale for purchasing wigs.
    9. Trash – Talking rubbish.
    10.Scrap – The toilet paper used in school when I was a child (more like tracing paper than tissue)

  2. Loved #3, #7 and #10 Diana. I remember that ‘scrap’ (shiny side up or down?) and the thrupenny bit! Funny how the new £1 coins are similar, as 3d is about all they’re worth now.
