Accomplishment

I celebrated an accomplishment – my 60th birthday yesterday; a meal out with my family, and a surprise gift of a week’s holiday in Italy for me and my husband – my first time on a plane, I cannot wait.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. Happy birthday Diana! Enjoy your flight. On my first flight (I was 37!), Hubby told the stewardess and I was invited up into the cockpit, then given a kids goody bag of postcards, crayons and badges. That was before 911 so I doubt you’d be allowed upfront now, but you might still get a goody bag!
