Christmas Chocolate

It is minus degrees outside, and the weather is frightful.

We do not get subzero conditions in the United Kingdom. Today it is minus three, and the snow is now ice. It is one of those days when nobody wants to drive, or walk for that matter.

Inside, the heating is on. I am not looking forward to going outside, but I promised my dog to take him out for a walk. It will do me good. It is the time of year, where there is nothing but snacks in the fridge, and Christmas chocolate to eat.

We never prepare for extreme weather; apart from rain that is.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
