A New Share

1.  How long did it take you to get back into the normal swing of things after the holidays? Once I got back to work, I went back to my routine. When I got back to school it was like we never had a holiday.

2.  Are you looking forward to 2026 with optimism? There is a lot going on at the moment. Politics, especially in America, is making me feel uneasy.

3.  Are you taking part in any of the January WP challenges/prompts? I have written poems and stories for the brilliant prompts.

4.  If you could wish one thing for 2026, what would that be? As always, I wish to see my family, and for loved ones to be safe.

I am grateful that I have a safe place during the winter storm. There is severe weather warning for tomorrow, and once I am home, I am not moving.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. Lots of unease here too Diana.
Thanks for joining in again this week. We are on the edge of a yellow warning for this latest storm to hit the UK. It rained last night, but froze in places so the pavements and roads were iffy in places. It’s warmer now (if you can call 2 degrees warm) and we’ve had sunshine all day so the snow we had has gone.
