May I compare you to a summer rose?

a strong stem, ready to protect loved ones

their precious petals unfold to the sun

his light shining down in a blaze of prose

helping to spread your roots across the soil

sharing the kindness shown to others. Your

friends will understand your imperfections.

I am proud of your strength even when

you don’t believe in yourself, keep walking.

Not afraid of hard work, you always toil.

Writing, a joy deep in your heart, will thrive

a blank page, keep your tale of hope alive

Look in the mirror and smile at your strength

Positive vibes will keep fear at arm’s length.
