For a walk needs no persuasion

For it is an thrilling situation

Ready with a ball and lead

His excitement is decreed

Open the door, but he must stay

For a calmer dog will have its day

His best friend Luna, friends all his life,

A run with her is not a strife

His old legs run with a passion

With canine pals he learns his lesson

Back on lead his aim to protect

I cross the road, a safer elect

My good boy home with me

A carrot treat is calorie free.
