Lemonade

1.  It’s a Bank Holiday here in the UK, so a lot of us don’t have to go to work. Are you working today?

No, I am not working all week because I work in a school.

2.  What do you like to do on your days off (not holiday/vacation)

We are in the middle of a two day heatwave. I have spent most of today drinking lemonade, and watching my favourite shows. I have brought a swimming pool, and my daughter, and granddaughter are coming over. We are going to enjoy the sunshine, because it probably will be raining by Thursday. That, or we will have thunderstorms.

3.  Have you booked a holiday/vacation this year?

We travelled to Sorrento in April, and I would love to go again. However, I have also booked a holiday to Norfolk. We are going at the end of July.

4.  Have you ever had a Staycation (a holiday in your own country)

Most of my holidays have been in this country. We have a beautiful countryside and seaside resorts. We can never be sure of the weather, but that is okay because we don’t need it to be sunny.

I am grateful for living in a country where my children and grandchildren are safe. I live near enough that I share happy memories with them. I am so lucky.
