A hairdresser should be classed as someone with our mental wellbeing in their capable hands. They somehow make us feel like we are the only people in their chair. A cup of tea, or coffee, and friendly gossip help pass a couple of hours in peace. I never used to go every month. I waited until it grew out. Now I look forward to going and allowing myself to be me.
Yeah, nice to have some “Me” time! xo

I used to enjoy the head massage at the hairdressers. If I wanted a perm. apparently they charge by the inch. My hair is a lot of inches, but the wave is natural now. It’s a luxury I enjoyed before retirement but I cut my own.

Perms were all the rage, I had a perm when I was in my twenties, not sure I would have one now.

I miss not going to mine, now that you mention it. When one lets one’s hair grow, there is no reason to!
