The bottom line, that’s where we signed
A marriage dream, a different view
living life with a partner new.
Our names are different, a little strange
our children with a varied range
When they marry they can choose to be
whoever they want you see
No longer needing to make that change
a woman can still keep her own name.
Free to choose, that’s a lovely line.
