Shadows
fall under the leaves
as I crave the silence
of reading. I turn the pages
and allow myself the pleasure
of going on an adventure. Sharing
in their life, but not thinking of my own.
It is important to find the courage to be free.

Diana, I love how your poem turns reading into a quiet act of courage, where “turn the pages” becomes not an escape from life, but a way of finding the freedom to return to it more fully.

That is how I see reading, a quiet place to reflect.
