Lucky

One beautiful day, spending it with family – I am lucky.

I was in Hunstanton last week with my daughter, granddaughter, grandson, husband and our two dogs. They enjoyed running on the beach – later in the evening, when nobody else was there. We sat sifting through rocks in search of a fossil and finished the evening at an arcade.

We painted pottery, made sand art pictures, and ate fish and chips out of boxes.

Life can be busy sometimes and it is lovely to slow down and sharing in a moment of the sun setting brings hope.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
