Jumping across branches

red feathers and a sign from

heaven to gift smiles

I believe that Robins, or butterflies are a gift from God, to show us that loved ones are near. It gives me comfort to see them, especially when they stay still long enough to share in the beauty.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. I totally agree..

but my mum always said the Robin was associated with death.

In British, Irish, and Celtic folklore, robins are deeply tied to death, acting as omens of doom if they enter a house, yet serving as comforting spiritual messengers. The phrase “when robins appear, loved ones are near” highlights their modern role in grief and remembrance.

It appears we were all right 👍
