1. What was your favourite TV show as a kid?
I loved Little House on the Prairie, and never missed a show. It was based on a book written by Laura Wilder. It was about her childhood growing up on a farm, with her sisters, and Mum and Dad. The person who played Charles Ingles, her dad, died at a young age. Michael Landon died in 1991aged 44. He was a brilliant actor famous for his role in Bonanza and his last show was Highway to heaven, where he played an angel.
My other favourite show, as a teenager was Starsky and Hutch. I was always a big fan of Paul Michael Glaser. My bestie’s sister told me about the show, and I was hooked from the start.
2. Do you have a favourite ‘tipple’? (alcoholic drink, or something when you are out for a meal etc)
I drink whisky and lemonade, but I also have a new favourite since visiting Sorrento. A Limoncello with lemonade is refreshing.
3. Is there a movie you can watch again and again and still enjoy?
Well, with a blog name of Writer Ravenclaw, it has to be Harry Potter. I spent time with my children reading and watching the movies. It is a bond I am very proud of.
4. Did you have a favourite toy as a child? Or perhaps one you wanted and never got?
My favourite gift was a pink petite typewriter; I always loved writing.
One year I was given a entertainment system and I understood the value, not only because it was the most expensive present I was given, but that they worked hard to buy it for me.
I am so grateful of my childhood because I was in the generation that got to play outside. Not sure if the ruling about coming in when the street lights went on was the safest way, but my parents knew I wouldn’t go beyond the street and older children naturally protected the younger ones.
Ah, you got the typewriter I craved!
Thanks for joining in Diana. Great share.

I loved everything you mentioned, but I never got the typewriter or the music system… but I did get to use the Danset Record player that my elder siblings grew out of 💜💜💜
