Notebooks

I love a new notebook. It is like wearing a new jumper before it goes in the wash. The pages are blank, ready for imagination to strike.

How many notebooks do I have? More than I can count. Some remain completely empty. However, in the last few months, I have used more of them.

They will not go to waste.

Writing by hand gives you the freedom to make mistakes. When I type on the computer, it t longer because I am correcting myself as I go along. I will use computers, but notebooks remain my favourite mode of inspiration.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. That’s great! Blank pages are like canvases for our imagination. Notebooks are good. I use computers to write my notes, but I synchronize them between devices. I occasionally use notebooks. ☺️
