I am Writer Ravenclaw, and this is my first blog post ever. I wrote Sticks and Stones because I was bullied as a child. It is what my parents told me to do when I was called names. Writing my first book was my way of fighting back with my own words. It Won’t Happen Again started off as a creative writing project at my local library, but for me, ended up as so much more. I hope that when you read about my fictional character, Martha, it will give you understanding of what it is like to be in a controlling relationship. Also, I hope it will give victims the courage to leave.

    Bullying is never okay, not at any age!

    I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
