A New Beginning

Next week will be my last week at my job as a teaching assistant. I’m not sure what I want to do next. Is this the start I need to give my writing a chance? I’ve always wanting to write for a living, so what’s to stop me doing that now.

My play will soon be shown to an audience, via a V360 headset. I’m still super excited that actors have spoken the words I have written. If I hadn’t of moved three years ago, those words wouldn’t have been possible.

I’ve written and self published my book ‘It Won’t Happen Again’. There are several more books in me to write. Social realism may not be popular at the moment. I doesn’t mean it won’t be popular in the future.

I need to believe in myself and my writing.

I class this as a new beginning. Everything happens for a reason, and maybe this will help me realise my dream to write for a living. If nothing else, I want to show my grown up children never to give up. I want to show my granddaughter she can be anything she wants to be.

There will be times in life when it doesn’t always go to plan, but that’s when you take a chance and believe in yourself great things can happen. I travel this road knowing I am in charge of my own destiny.

I have heard of ghost writing. Is there anyone out there who has done it before? Would you recommend it is worth a go? It would be great to earn money writing, but where do I start? If anyone has done any ghost writing before comment below. I would love to hear your experiences.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
